More about Westcountry Tea Co. – Earl Grey Tea Bags
Our Earl Grey is a blend of high quality Chinese black tea and natural Bergamot oil, creating a sophisticated and refined cuppa!
This Earl Grey Tea produces a rich amber infusion with a smooth citrusy and malty flavour and a zesty floral aroma.
For a perfect brew do not add milk until the tea is ready as the milk fats will block the filter paper and stop the tea from delivering its full flavour.
We generously fill each bag with quality un-ground ingredients, making for a satisfying full flavoured brew each and every time.
100% plastic free tea bags and inner clear bag, both 100% compostable and biodegradable. Outer box 100% recyclable cardboard printed with vegetable ink.

How to brew the perfect cuppa:
To enjoy this tea at its best, always use freshly drawn and boiled water. (to help the planet, only boil the amount of water you need to save water and energy)
Take a moment to warm the pot or mug.
Use 1 tea bag per person and pour the freshly boiled water (100°C) over the tea bag.
Steep for 5-10 minutes, allowing the tea to release their full flavours.
Once the tea has brewed to your liking, sweeten or go natural. You decide, it’s your cuppa!
Take time out and enjoy!
Refreshing iced tea:
Use 1 tea bag per person, 125ml of freshly boiled water and brew for 10 minutes.
Sweeten to your liking and top up with 125ml of cold water. Serve over ice.
As the planet means so much to us, in 2018 we took the leap to be one of Britain’s first 100% plastic free tea companies.
All our tea bags are made from corn starch, so no nasty plastics in your cup. We also pack our tea bags in a film made from fast growing eucalyptus tree cellulose. This means there is no nasty plastic in landfill. Not stopping there. We went through a change of packaging, utilising vegetable inks print on our tea boxes. Closing the whole circle making it all kind to the planet!!
